The Institute of Safety Professionals of Nigeria (ISPON) over the weekend paid a condolence visit to the family of late Alhaji (Dr) Lateef Alebiosu in his Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State home.
The visit also coincided with the eight-day Fridaus prayer for the repose of the soul of the deceased in accordance with Islamic tradition.
Representatives of ISPON on the visit were former President and Governing Board member, Chief Innocent .F. Okunamiri; Spokesperson and Lagos Branch Coordinator, Engr. Timothy Iwuagwu and his wife; Lagos Branch member, Sir Francis Ewenla, along with other members and staff of the Lagos Branch.
The institute’s representatives were received by the deceased’s son, Mr Ade Alebiosu and daughter Mrs Debo Asaiye, who are both members of ISPON; his two wives; other children and family members.
The Ijebu-Ode chief, who was also CEO of popular 9jaSAFE Awards, was buried the same day according to Islamic rights in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State.
