The Kano State Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Engineer Mua’zu Magaji has passed a vote of confidence on the state fire service.
Magaji made this declaration while inspecting facilities at the state headquarters of the fire service.
The commissioner dismissed media reports regarding the ability of the service to combat fire in the state.
He therefore reiterated the Service’s commitment to effectively check fire incidents in and around the state.
Magaji further said that the 2020 budget had made provisions for four new fire trucks.
This, he said, will further boost the activities of the fire service.
