The Institute of Safety Professionals of Nigeria (ISPON) says that no member shall be allowed into the venue of its upcoming Annual General Meeting/Elections 2019 without evidence of being financially up-to-date or possession of a 2019 membership identity card.
This was part of the eligibility criteria released for the institute’s AGM/Elections scheduled for Owerri, the Imo state capital on October 26, 2019.
In a circular dated September 30 and signed by ISPON Registrar, Mr. Bola Aborode, the institute informed members that “only financially up to date members shall be allowed into the venue” of the AGM.
Furthermore, the institute stated that “only qualified and financially up to date members shall be allowed to vote and be voted for.
“Evidence of payment and or 2019 membership ID cards shall serve as gate pass at the venue.
“Any branch chairman who has received membership dues from members should remit same to the institute’s First Bank number 2004129222.
“All election contestants should submit their application forms to the ISPON Registrar, indicating their position of interest.
“Original certificates including membership certificates shall be required for sighting by the elections committee during screening.”
