Alhaji Dr. L.A. Alebiosu

Alhaji (Dr.) Lateef Adegbuyi Alebiosu known as one of the founding fathers of safety in Nigeria and a revered Chief in Ijebu- Ode in Ogun state Nigeria.
He started work with Nigeria AGIP Oil Company PLC. as a safety officer in 1972, where he rose to become the fire and safety superintendent and head of department before retiring in 1994 from services after 21 years of meritorious service. He is currently a safety consultant and principal partner in his own firm. General Safety Services Ltd.
He was awarded Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in leadership and safety management. He complete the safety management course of the British safety councils and Oxford polytechnic safety diploma course and holds the international diploma in safety management of the British Safety Council.
Dr. Alebiosu is the Chief Executive Officer of 9jaSAFE Award and publisher Safety Record Newspaper, Nigeria's premiere specialized health, safety, and environment (HSE) publication.
Dr. L.A Alebiosu belong to many international and national professional bodies. Past President (2009-2011) and member board of governors, Institute of Safety Professionals of Nigeria (ISPoN). He authors the book Safety and You.

 

 

 

 

 Rear-Admiral Sunny Abiodun Olukoya

Rear Admiral Sunny Abiodun Olukoya, is a retired Rear Admiral and former military governor of old Ondo State, 1990 to 1992. He is also a business man and publisher.

He was born April 6, 1949, in Lagos where he also had his elementary education. He passed from Lagos City College, Yaba before joining the Navy in 1967 and proceeded to the Nigeria Defence Academy (NDA) in 1969. He was commissioned as a sub-lieutenant in 1971.
As a naval officer, he had served as the commanding officer of NNS Olokun and as commandant of the Naval College, Onura. He was also Director of Administration of the Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna and was the Director of Logistics, Defence Headquarters before his retirement from the navy in 1999.
Admiral Olukoya was a Defence Attache to the embassy of Nigeria Yaounde, Cameroon September 1986-1990. A Chief Staff Officer HQENC Calabar and Fleet Commander (East) October 1993-June 1994.
He was also appointed by the late Umar Musa Yar'adua as the Chairman Inter-Ministerial Committee on Auditing, Wrecking, Clearing and sale of residual metals in Nigerian Waters, September 2009- April 2010.
Admiral Olukoya is the Chairman 9jaSAFE Governing Board comprising of respected individuals.

 

 

 

 

 Belinda A. Odeneye

Belinda Aderonke Odeneye is the Head of Department, Compliance Monitoring and Enforcement in charge of School safety, Food Safety, manufacturing markets, event places, and public safety amongst other domains at Lagos State Safety Commission (LSC).
She has over 30 years of cognate experience in Occupational Health, Safety and Environment issues in the Oil and Gas sector, Industrial Facilities and General workplaces and Habitations, Environmental Planning and Protection; Environmental Audit and Impact Assessment, Compliance Monitoring and Enforcement; Pollution control, Chemicals and Waste Management; Environmental Policy Formulation; Establishment of Environmental Standards and Regulations; Waste Integrated Management, Electronic and Electrical Waste Management.

 

 

 

 

 Chief I. F. Okunamiri

A professional/career Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), Chief I. F. Okunamiri graduated from the Polytechnic of South Bank, London S.E.I. with a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Hygiene. He holds a PhD in International Safety Management and Engineering Administration (Honoris Causa) of the Pacific Western University, USA.
He is a past President of the National Industrial Safety Council of Nigeria (NISCN), and past president of the Institute of Safety Professionals of Nigeria (ISPON).

ALONGE, Julius Odunayo, is the Managing Director and Principal Consultant of Lius Environmental Protection and Safety Engineering Limitedin Lagos, Nigeria.
He is a graduate of Industrial Engineering at St. Clair College of Applied Arts and Technology, Windsor Ontario, Canada (1977), an advance Diploma in Safety Management by British Safety Council, London on a program sponsored by his employer (NNPC) to UK (1981)
He has pioneer HSE consultancy and application to meet international standards and also nurtured the HSE compliance model to international level in WAPCO Plc; Sagamu and Ewekoro Works (2000); NNPC Coporate Training Department, among others.
