The Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) has trained workers of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) on the use of the road, regulations, and safety.
An FRSC Unit Commander, Adejumobi Olatunde, led a five-man delegation that conducted the safety training in Abuja on Friday.
Olatunde took the workers on what he described as the “the three variables in traffic environment”, namely: the driver, vehicle and the road.
He stated that the driver was the first in the hierarchy as he made choices that affect other variables like the road.
The NCC Executive Vice Chairman, Prof. Umar Danbatta, lauded the FRSC for overseeing the safety training.
Dambatta, who was represented by the Director, Public Affairs, NCC, Dr. Henry Nkemadu, emphasised the usefulness of the training in helping the workers, which included drivers, know the necessary steps to take while plying the roads.
